This product is prepared using traditional methods and the whole process takes place here at our olive farm, Las Brujas.
The olive leaf was first used medicinally in ancient Egypt. Since then olive leaves have been used therapeutically in the human diet as a herbal tea, extract or powder.
One of the primary compounds in the olive leaf is Oleuropein, an antioxidant more powerful than green tea. It’s antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties have been attracting attention since the early 1900’s.
Oleuropein helps the cardiovascular system, regulates blood pressure, boosts the immune system and is even used as a treatment for dermatitis.

I tried the tea bags for the first time at the weekend and I had to buy some for myself! I wasn’t sure what to expect as olives have such a strong taste, but this tea is absolutely lovely! Wonderful taste, especially without sugar, which surprised me too! I will definitely be ordering more soon!
